Empire Aviation response to the Covid-19 crisis
As we all face this unprecedented global crisis as a result of the Covid-19 virus, Empire Aviation is taking a number of precautionary steps designed, first and foremost, to ensure the continued health and safety of all our passengers and crew, and minimising any impact on our flight operations.
Our team is working round-the-clock to monitor the latest developments on the crisis and any associated travel restrictions, as the situation changes on a daily basis. We are also screening and assessing all new flight requests to ensure that we are able to continue to fly our customers safely to their destination.
Empire Aviation is following very carefully the ongoing advice and guidance from government, public health and medical authorities, and global and regional aviation regulators, so that we can respond rapidly and maintain safe and hygienic operations on the ground and in the air.
The health and wellbeing of all our passengers and crews is our top priority for every flight. We are already taking practical steps including providing universal protection kits and face masks on every flight, to be used by everyone on board as per the guidance provided to them; ensuring every aircraft is thoroughly deep cleaned and sanitised after every mission; pre-flight screening and crew health checks; working with MedAire to provide medical support on the ground and onboard.
In this rapidly moving global crisis, it is challenging to anticipate the next steps that may be required but we remain in close contact with the relevant authorities and continue to monitor the situation on an hourly basis.
